District Grants
The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is the charitable arm of Rotary which provides financial support to help Rotary clubs (like yours) and districts work together on meaningful and sustainable service with the goal of making the world a better place. The mission of TRF is to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The Rotary Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
For Rotary Year 2024-2025, we will continue with our Rotary Foundation District Grant programme whereby we will offer up to 19 x $2000 District Grants to clubs for District projects. This grant will match your club contribution dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $2000. This means that if you are carrying out a $4000 project, which meets the selection criteria, you can apply for up to $2000 from the Rotary Foundation for a District Grant.
Attached you will find information about how to qualify your club to enable you to apply for Rotary Foundation Grants, how to apply for a Grant and the required criteria, and a Grant application form for you to complete.
The final date for submission for applications for this year’s District Grants will be 30 September 2024 so start thinking about a local project that your club could be involved in, and if it meets the listed criteria get your District Grant application in. Make sure you don’t miss out!
Please read the attachments - they contain important information. Note that to be eligible to apply for a District Foundation Grant or participate in a Global Grant your club must have completed and submitted a District Foundation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a member of your club must have attended a training session - eg Club Leaders Seminar.
The District Rotary Foundation team are here to help, so if you need any help or advice please contact us.
